Speaker Bios:
Scott Barber has been a US Postal Inspector for 9 years. Prior to becoming a US Postal Inspector, he was a Missouri State Trooper for 8 1/2 years. Current duties are the investigation of crimes that involve the use of US Mail (mail fraud, credit card fraud, drug parcels). He is currently assigned to Birmingham, AL; which investigates crimes for the Northern District of Alabama.
R. Ronald Mayhew, Jr., (better known as "Ronnie") joined the U.S. Postal Inspection Service on April 7, 2012 after spending five years practicing criminal law in Virginia and three months as a deputy sheriff for the Shelby County (AL) Sheriff's Office. Ronnie has both prosecuted and defended criminal cased in bench and jury trials, and was appointed by the 22nd Judicial District Court to oversee elections as one of three members of the Pittsylvania County (VA) Electoral Board. Prior to leaving the private practice of law, Ronnie spent two years volunteering his time as an auxiliary police office with the Danville (VA) Police Department. He has a wife and two children. Inspector Mayhew is assigned to the Birmingham Domicile.
Effective April 1, 2012, the Chapter started assessing "no-shows" for failing to cancel reservations. Reservations must be cancelled within 48 hours preceding the event to avoid the assessment.
